Keep Your Dream Alive

Special Announcement

This announcement comes with heartfelt emotions. Over the previous six years and since its inception, Premiere Athletix and Premiere Lady Fitness have been a proud sponsor of a local fitness and bodybuilding show. After Corey's passing three years ago, Premiere Fitness had the privilege to honor and bestow the Corey Lipsey, “Keep Your Dreams Alive” award during the show. This award was given to an individual who best exemplified the spirit of our departed friend, trainer, co-worker, and motivator - Corey. After six years of sponsorship, Premiere Fitness has elected to close that door and open a new one, one that will help us continue to honor the name of Corey Lipsey for years to come, while helping countless others at the same time.

On the third anniversary of Corey's passing, we are proud to announce that Premiere Fitness has partnered with The Create Foundation here in Tupelo, and would like to officially announce the COREY LIPSEY KEEP YOUR DREAMS ALIVE ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIP.

This new scholarship will be available to those wanting to further their education to a state four year university, local trade schools, and/or local vocational schools. No elevated GPA is required, no super score of ACT/SAT is required, only the desire to further your education. Eligible participants for the scholarship are as follows: from Corey’s high school, North Pontotoc High, and all applicable individuals and schools in Lee County.

Donations to this wonderful annual scholarship are 100% tax deductible via The Create Foundation and 100% of all donations help fund and grow this scholarship. If you would like to make a contribution in Corey's honor, please visit, and at the top of the page, click “MAKE A DONATION,” then select the letter “C” for Corey. Scroll down, and there, you’ll find The Corey Lipsey Keep Your Dreams Alive Scholarship. We hope everyone who knew Corey will take this opportunity to make a small donation in his name. No amount is too small or large and your kindness will help to better the lives of others in the future.

Corey is deeply missed by many and we remain thankful for the many memories. #keepyourdreamsalive ❤ 7-3-2017

Best of health to all,
Chris, Kristi, and the entire Premiere Fitness family

Corey Lipsey Memorial

Corey's passing was a tremendous loss for Premiere and its members. His sudden passing of a massive heart attack on July 3, 2017 at the young age of 40 brought much awareness about heart health throughout the gym and beyond. Corey appeared to be the epitome of health and by looking at him, you'd never know his time was nearing. His passing inspired guys and girls to get their heart checked after learning about a quick and simple screening offered by Cardiology Associates. Pay attention to little signs and most importantly, know the signs. For more information, call and ask about the cardiac preventative screening exam. 662-620-6800

Annual Jump for Corey

Two short weeks before Corey passed, he went skydiving with the Premiere crew. It was his first time to jump. He thought it was fun and was planning to jump again with us in September. We decided an annual "Jump for Corey" was fitting. Friends come together to jump in his memory and we have the best time, while remembering great memories of our friend. Jump for Corey 2019 is coming up soon!
